BLISS SIGNAL is a Blackened New Metal project between James Kelly (WIFE, ALTAR OF PLAGUES) and UK DJ / Producer MUMDANCE. BLISS SIGNAL strips down black metal’s mechanical repetitive elements to their essence, refined to a sharp, singular and powerful metallic core swathed in expansive synths, and shoegaze textures. Blast beats are replaced with analog drum machines. Shimmering synths wash over a heavily distorted staccato guitar. The result is instrumental music that is intense and propulsive
