Karnivool is an Australian rock band formed in Perth in 1998. Since 2004, the line-up has consisted of Ian Kenny (vocals), Drew Goddard (guitar), Mark Hosking (guitar), Jon Stockman (bass), and Steve Judd (drums). The band has released four studio albums: "Themata" (2005), "Sound Awake" (2009), "Asymmetry" (2013), and "In Verses" (2026). Karnivool developed from a high school band formed in 1997 in Perth, Western Australia. The group initially performed cover versions of songs by Nirvana and Carcass, alongside original material.
