VOLA hunts and takes down rainbows from the sky, loads them on their backs and carries them to a black and white world where sudden contrasts shoot up like surreal architecture. A process, in which undefinable but colorful creatures are shaped and given life. The band exists in a grey borderline area of metal, where the musical ideas are portrayed in the clash of the immense, complex and ballistic, and the melancholic, ambient and transparent. VOLA forms pummeling bursts of distortion
